Performance issues? Or Executive Function Challenges?

Not all performance issues are about capability or motivation – often it’s about how the brain manages time, tasks, focus and emotion. These are referred to as Executive Function challenges.
Our executive functions underpin the way that we make decisions, deal with emotions (that control our behaviour), plan, focus and organise, as well as how we process information. Basically, it’s our brain’s management system – in order to allow us to ‘function’.
