More things on the horizon – lots to come!

As well as the Employment Rights Bill, the Labour government is committed to a number of other initiatives as part of their ‘Make Work Pay’ manifesto, which may cover a ban on unpaid internships, the ‘right to disconnect’, single worker status, the removal of age bands for the National Minimum Wage, the introduction of Equality (Race & Disability) Bill, reviews of carer’s and parental leave processes, employee consultation in relation to AI and a review of TUPE!

It is certainly one of the biggest times of change in employment law and the world of work, so employers are strongly advised to review their policies and processes, as well as ensuring all managers know what is on the horizon.
